The Prince Rupert Labour Council provides a common voice for hundreds of union members in the North Coast region – as we work together for the benefit of all communities.
We bring together delegates from local affiliate unions across all sectors of the economy. We meet regularly to plan ways to work together for the benefit of our local communities. We are democratic, inclusive, and committed to working together for everyone's benefit.
The Prince Rupert Council meet regularly to share information between unions and to plan Council activities. We work to raise issues of importance to our members and local unions, support policies that help families and the community as a whole, organize community events, and improve working conditions of all workers, including those who are not yet organized. We are committed to working for reconciliation and in solidarity with First Nations of the North Coast and all Indigenous peoples.
